A Funding Guide to More Diverse Schools in California

This funding guide from the UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools was created as a public resource for educators and districts committed to diversifying the educator workforce and meeting the needs of diverse students.
The guide consists of two sections:

  • Section I highlights allocations and grants for individual applicants (e.g., prospective teachers, teacher candidates, or current teachers).
  • Section II outlines allocations and grants for organizational entities (e.g., local education agencies, school districts, & county offices of education).

This guide was created by the California Coalition for Educator Diversity, a collaboration of researchers, practitioners and advocates brought together by the UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools who are committed to advancing teacher diversity and equity in schools.
