Released in March 2019, the CAAASA Equity in Action Report is based on a two-year study identifying barriers and evidence-based solutions to improving the academic and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) outcomes of African American students in California. Through a grant awarded by California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE), the California Association of African-American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA) convened several Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) as a Professional Learning Network (PLN).
