ACSA has compiled resources to assist our school communities in the Los Angeles area during the January 2025 wildfire events. Please refer to the following links for assistance and donations:
Mental Health
- Care Solace helps communities access mental wellness and support for educators, schools and districts.
Fundraising
- CDE/SupplyBank.org Disaster Relief Fund: State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and the CDE have partnered with the nonprofit SupplyBank.org to collect and distribute donations and emergency resources to school communities that are facing the most significant impacts of the wildfires.
- GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund: “This fund was created to provide direct relief to people in need after a wildfire. Your tax-deductible donation will ensure this fund can support as many people as possible as soon as a disaster strikes. We send critical cash grants directly to people who need help recovering from the impact of a wildfire.”
- American Red Cross
- Pasadena Humane needs “monetary donations to help provide emergency resources to animals affected by the wildfires.”
- Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: “The LAFD Foundation is actively seeking funds to equip our LAFD members battling wildfires with equipment and supplies.”
- CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) Donations

- United Way of Greater Los Angeles
- World Central Kitchen: “World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is in Southern California to support first responders and families impacted by wildfires in the Los Angeles area. Our teams and partners have mobilized across the region to provide nourishing meals to people in need.”
