This handout from Kern County Superintendent of Schools aims to help clarify when masks will be required for students and adults while in a K-12 school setting, per the California Department of Public Health’s recently updated K-12 Schools Guidance.
The county office shared the one-pager on its social pages along with the message: “Per the CDPH, school districts are legally obligated to plan for and enforce the mask mandate. Individual school districts will communicate directly with parents what their expectations and practices are as the new school year approaches.”
