CalKIDS is a state scholarship program that provides $500 to $1,500 to over 60% of public-school students across California. These funds can be used at eligible colleges or career training programs when students are ready to pursue postsecondary education. The program is administered by the ScholarShare Investment Board (SIB) and chaired by the State Treasurer.
