Equity Inquiry: How can TK-12 education leaders leverage digital tools and strategies to deepen learning and expand access and equity?
21CSLA Digitally Mediated Learning Vignettes highlight selected learning strategies that can be incorporated into professional learning with school leaders. These strategies include scaffolds for using specific digital texts and tools also with explanations of the “what,” “why,” and “how” considerations for implementation. Vignettes provide examples of equity-centered digitally mediated professional learning design and facilitation to improve equity, access, inclusion, belonging, engagement, community, and innovation with diverse learners and contexts. 21CSLA Digitally Mediated Learning Vignettes are intended to influence education leaders as professional learning resources posted on the 21CSLA Digitally Mediated Learning webpage for cultivation of critical digital competencies and transformational professional learning. The growing collection includes: Hybrid Learning, Podcasting, and Sketchnoting.
21CSLA provides TK–12 education leaders with equity-centered professional learning and supports digitally mediated learning, which takes place in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
Digitally mediated learning in 21CSLA utilizes an instructional technology approach to identify electronic tools that can be used to facilitate equitable learning opportunities for leaders. It also employs an educational technology lens to guide the use of those tools to design powerful learning experiences that lead to deeper learning.

Digitally mediated learning support is provided by the 21CSLA State Center with professional learning consultation for Center and Regional Academy leaders to strategically integrate digitally mediated learning practices, cultivate critical digital literacy and use of evidence to model transformational professional learning for leaders. The 21CSLA Digitally Mediated Learning Team supports the following domains:
