ACSA’s Governmental Relations team has released its summary document of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s 2025-26 revised budget proposal for education, which reflects a $12 billion deficit. While the state saw strong revenue returns in the first quarter of the year, the shortfall is primarily a result of newly enacted federal policies and their expected impacts on the stock market.
