ACSA has released its response to Governor Gavin Newsom’s proposed TK-12 education budget for 2026-27. We commend the Governor for upholding his previous commitments despite declining revenues. However, lingering uncertainty from the federal government and California’s projected structural deficit underscore the need to build long-term fiscal stability in education.
