New Guide Helps School Districts Understand Funding Opportunities for Effective Principal Pipelines

When it comes to student outcomes, research shows that effective principals make a big difference. Federal funding can help school districts build a strong principal pipeline —​​​​​​​​​​ ​a set of procedures and policies designed to cultivate and support effective school leaders. But with the American Rescue Plan Act pumping billions of additional dollars into the nation’s education system, districts may need guidance to figure out where their pipeline works fits into the broad landscape of federal funding. “Strong Principals, Strong Pipelines: A Guide for Leveraging Federal Sources to Fund Principal Pipelines” is a new tool developed by the Wallace Foundation, Policy Studies Associates and Education Counsel that is designed to help districts identify federal funding for principal pipelines.
