Nominations open online for state ACSA awards

ACSA is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Statewide Awards Program. The program encompasses the Administrator of the Year Awards as well as special awards for individuals and partnership programs.

All nominations will once again be submitted through the online nomination platform, which was successfully launched last year. This streamlined process creates a consistent experience for all participants statewide, with a single portal and submission deadline for every award category in every ACSA region.

The deadline for all nominations is Jan. 17, 2019. It is recommended to start soon to allow for time to collect the information needed, to write thoughtful criteria explanations and to request letters of support.

Following are a few frequently asked questions about the program.

Who is eligible for the Administrator of the Year Awards?

Active state ACSA membership is required for all Administrator of the Year categories at the state level. Current members of the state Board of Directors and ACSA staff are not eligible for any awards.

How do I start a nomination?

Create an account or login to an existing account on the ACSA Awards online platform, accessible at http://acsa.awardsplatform.com, and click “Start New Entry.” Detailed instructions will walk you through the steps of starting and saving a nomination.

If I created an account on the platform last year, do I need to register again?

No, your account from the 2018 program is still active, so all you need to do is login using the same credentials.
