Temple Grandin, Ph.D., is the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world. Dr. Grandin, gives a keynote address at the ACSA "Every Child Counts Symposium" in Feb. 2017. As an expert in humane livestock treatment, a prolific author, the subject of an award-winning movie and a tireless advocate for those who think differently, Grandin uses her platform to explain to educators the importance of valuing each and every child's ability to contribute. Temple Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, a world-renowned autism spokesperson, and the subject of an HBO TV movie about her life - which won a Golden Globe Award for actress CLAIRE DANES.
