The new superintendents guide to community engagement

Whether you’re brand new to being a superintendent or are just starting out at a new district, your challenge is unique. You are expected to listen to stakeholders to discover priorities and build trust, while at the same time provide a plan and vision for the district—all of which need to be informed by stakeholder priorities and again require their trust for support. Doing all of this at the same time is no easy task.
