Understanding and Relieving Stress for Women in Educational Leadership

Dr. Monica Peterson will be presenting her recent research on the topic of stress management specific to women in leadership roles. Dr. Peterson explored the practices of female superintendents in California, and her findings provide a holy grail of strategies and realizations that will help all women pursuing or currently in a leadership role in the education field. This talk will dive into the contributing factors of stress for women in educational leadership, share usable strategies and ways to move toward a healthy stress level. Practical tips and tools will also be shared to make your lives more manageable, so you can continue giving your best self to the incredibly important work of leading our schools
