Common Purpose, Uncommon Times on Facebook Live

ACSA Executive Director Wes Smith hosts Common Purpose, Uncommon Times on Facebook Live Mondays at 5:30 p.m., providing viewers with information from the state Capitol and how it impacts you, answering your questions and helping you focus on being the student advocate that your community needs right now.

April 5 Episode — Summer planning

Join us at 5:30 p.m. for Common Purpose, Uncommon Times with ACSA Executive Director Wes Smith. Today, we’ll look ahead to summer planning. Jennifer Peck of Partnership for Children and Youth and Francine Ann Stewart of Monterey Peninsula School District will discuss preventing learning loss and providing creative opportunities for students this year — both of which are even more important given the impacts of COVID-19. For some students, this may be the first time they’re in person with adults and peers for more than a year — how can we use this time wisely to help students recover and prepare for fall? Be sure to bring your comments and questions!
